My old HVAC system was so loud that I had to crank up the volume of the TV in my living room substantially every time the system kicked on. The biggest part of the problem was that the furnace blower unit was right next to the return duct vent in my condo hallway, with no distance or sound buffering. Perfect Temperature Control designed and fabricated a custom return air base and return drop that put distance between the blower and the vent. Both were insulated with an acoustical sound deadening liner. They also chose equipment appropriately sized for my condo so that the blower level is not unnecessarily high. They installed a ducted (not ductluss) Mitsubishi system in my home. I was still using window units and this was a complete install. Over the last year (or more) I spent a lot of time researching and educating myself about traditional AC systems, space pak, and split systems using a heat pump. Quiet was important. I live on a busy street and have a smallish yard. I didn't want a loud traditional air compressor in my yard. However, I also didn't want the units on my walls. I refered to Mitsubishi's website for contractors. After 4-5 companies specifically to install Mitsubishi, I was impressed with Perfect Temperature Control. The air conditioning broke just when we got a wave of extremely hot weather. I was so pleased when the repairmen showed up on time and fixed the unit so quickly. The price was reasonable and the service outstanding. Read Less
